Even Prince William Wants Taylor Swift’s Attention! Travis Kelce Reacts to the Prince’s Hilarious Selfie Confession
Travis Kelce has no beef with Prince William.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end gave a candid response to Prince William’s recent comments on The Graham Norton Show about trying to nudge him out of the famous 2024 selfie with his now-wife, Taylor Swift.
The image, which featured William and his eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, also marked the hard launch of Swift and Kelce’s romance on Instagram.

“I wasn’t until recently. I hadn’t appreciated the significance — and actually, I was trying to move him out of the photo,” William joked on the show.
“But Travis kept coming back in, and I couldn’t work out why he kept coming back in,” he quipped. “I was trying to move him out so it was just me and Taylor and the children.”
And on the Wednesday, Oct. 28 episode of Travis and his brother Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast, they reacted to the future king’s comments.

“I get it, man. I think we all get it,” Travis said. “I was just a boyfriend at that point. You know? I wasn’t her husband yet. You know? We don’t really know if this is gonna last, so it’s kinda just move out of the way real quick so we can keep this photo forever. Yeah. Hopefully, this doesn’t go south. Otherwise, this photo is not gonna be as good.”
Jason agreed, calling William’s comments “very understandable.”
Travis showed he harbored no ill will, adding, “Shout out to Prince William, man.”
Jason then joked that the New Heights graphics team was going to Photoshop Travis out of the photo, and Travis volunteered to send the new version to Buckingham Palace.
“I gotta ship that to him. Just send it to Buckingham Palace. You think it’ll get to him?” Travis quipped.

William showed there were no hard feelings as he joined the Kelce brothers as a surprise guest on the podcast in July in a pre-taped episode that aired just hours before Travis’ Madison Square Garden wedding to Swift.
Travis and Swift tied the knot on July 3 after they first started dating in 2023 and got engaged in August 2025.
